The Energy Insurance Survey

Among the services provided by Abercromby Risk the staple is the Energy Risk Engineering Insurance Survey (also known as the 'underwriting survey). Virtual or in-person, including in remote, offshore or high risk areas, Abercromby Risk can gather the evidence to bind risks with confidence and ensure cover is appropriate.  We report on all site attributes with bearing on the risk, including but not limited to Estimated Maximum Loss (PD, MB, OEE, BI/LOPI), physical details, processes, technology use, control and safety systems, systems of work, integrity management, natural perils and much more.  Our expertise across the insurance and the process industries allow us to identify and close the largest gaps in process safety performance through targeted and value-adding Risk Improvement Recommendations.
